finished painting

living room - painted a pale beige and a green accent wall. Curtains are from Ikea. They were designed to go on a cafe rod, but I cut them up and re-sewed them for the I-beam curtain rod & scarf valance hooks.

kitchen - we replaced the ancient fluorescent fixture with this globe light

we are using the medium bedroom

large bedroom - my sewing stuff and more things

small bedroom - will be spare bedroom

bathroom upstairs - painted grey to go with the black and white fixtures & tile. The curtain fabric is from Fabricland but it looks kind of Ikea-like, same with the kitchen curtain

furnace - the new gas one

front yard

backyard

the awesome garage door. Not sure whether to find a used door, new door, or board it up for the winter. I'm pretty sure it's not square so might be hard to fit a door in there

The lawnmower came with the house, I got this wagon to transport cat litter buckets from the store

The old owner used to work on car engines. This bench is coated in motor oil so I don't want to put any nice wood near it.

first good look

the mailbox is on an old milk door.

view from the back deck

we have AC, but we shall have to check out if this unit still works.

I would like to replace these steps, they are not a standard size so I am sure I going to slip on them at some point

original floors

this bedroom is the largest, it has a patio door onto the back deck. The previous owners had installed a ramp on the end of the deck to accomodate a family member who uses a wheelchair.

smallest bedroom

upstairs bathroom is black and white... and pink

floor might need work soon

basement stairs, side door

I hope this phone is left behind when we move in!

I hope this freezer is gone when we move in!

we have an oil furnace.

I love the wallpaper in the basement bathroom but unfortunately it might have to go because the shower stall will need to be replaced (no photo of it here)
